Your outpouring of love, care and concern for our Midwest flood victims is remarkable! 24,000+ Presbyterians in east central Indiana DO make a difference. Our first response is always prayer, and we know that each of you are already active in that process. I have been working with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance to plan other responses. You will receive additional information regarding that, including direction regarding monetary contributions. Stay tuned.
Many of you have also been asking how to provide immediate and tangible help for flood victims. Clean up buckets and supplies are needed. Rich Swartwood, Pyoca director, has detailed that information below. The buckets referred to in Rich's message are five gallon buckets, with lids. Those may be purchased at most major home improvement stores
Greater Indianapolis Churches - Rev. David Berry and Rev. Rachel Wann will be delivering clean up buckets to Pyoca on Saturday The drop off site for packed and sealed buckets: Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 N. Meridian, Indianapolis - lower parking lot, door with the white canopy. Please drop your buckets off by 10:00 am Saturday, June 14.

Other Churches - contact Rich Swartwood before you pack and deliver buckets to Pyoca. Rich needs to assess and coordinate the need with other agencies before buckets are received. Rich's contact information is below.
