If your congregation is passionate about mission, but you need a little extra help to get a project off the ground,
or you have a project you'd like to grow, please consider applying for this partnership grant.
Here are things to keep in mind to know if your project meets the criteria for a parntership grant:
- The Mission is consistent with one or more of the "Great Ends of the Church."
- The Mission reflects a theological/biblical understanding of mission and ministry
- Presbytery support will enable the Partner congregation(s) to be more engaged in outreach.
- The congregation(s) has a vision and passion for the future of this Parntership ministry.
- The Mission fulfills Presbytery's desire to have a Presbyterian presence in this geographic, cultural or ministry area.
- The Mission has realistic short and long range objectives.
- Commitment to this Mission is apparent by the amount of financial and human resources invested in the project by the sponsoring congregation(s).
- If an agency/program: can an audit be provided?
- The Mission can demonstrate the potential for long range viability.
- The Partner congregation(s) have made and fulfilled previous financial commitments to the Presbytery.
(Per Capita, Mission giving, loans)
- The Mission is not funded in any other way by Presbytery.
